one last round up before i break for the weekend. i received the photos from the lovely and talented francine daveta late last night so i can finally share photos of all my creations.
i am absolutely overwhelmed by the reactions i've received for these - last night an interview with me was published on the wall street journal online, i got mentions in vogue and the new york times magazine; and even a writeup from my esteemed papa. to say i didn't expect this is the understatement of the year - it means so, so much to me to work so hard and really pour myself into something i love to do and get this incredibly kind outpouring of appreciation. i was so thrilled to be a part of such a cool event, and i am just flattered and delighted beyond words that everything was so well received. i'm gushing. i'm repeating myself. but i am over the moon!
and i JUST got word that i made the print edition of the wall street journal! aaaaah!
i love that they mention i paid $6.99 for my dress at a thrift store. ha!
a very special thanks to bulgari and karen for making this happen.
floating on air,

Congrats! You deserve the recognition. I think it's time for you to have a "seen in" page, or maybe a "press" page on your blog. Do it!
ReplyDeletecongrats! i'm a fairly long-time reader of your blog, but first-time commenter. happy to see big things happening for you!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! You deserve all the kudos.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I have to say that everything I have ever seen you make on this blog is something I automatically want to eat! I have even used a few of your recipes. I have been reading your blog for a while and honestly, I live vicariously through what you do. It makes my job seems so boring and mundane! Congrats on the recognition!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all of the really good stuff happening!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations upon your deserved success.
ReplyDeletethank you all so, so much for all your kind words. i do need to figure out a way to do some kind of press page on here - i'll get on that.
ReplyDeletelara - my day job is far from exciting, too, now that i'm not at the bakery anymore - for me it's what i do outside of work that defines me, i think. and if i remember correctly, you're about to have a baby! which makes your life at least as exciting as mine, if not exponentially more so!
much love to you all! xo
