warmi

oh, be still my heart. whilst stumbling around the interwebs this past week, i happened upon a little french e-shop called warmi. all i can say is, ooh la la. if they weren't so out of my price range they would be in my closet! a little eye candy:

no outfit post today; i woke up too late to lean against any furniture. i do hope to do a little cooking, and ttft - i will try to post that goat cheese pasta recipe tonight, all the photos are on my little macbook at home.

i'm no fool, and i know that many, if not most, of the comments on my kohls post are meant as entries to win a gift card and nothing more, but i'm very touched by many of the sentiments and since stupid blogspot doesn't have a comment response function, i'm-a try to respond to people either in posts or on your blog, if you have one. thanks for all the kind words, everyone, and best of luck!

  8. So I have been MIA on comments lately but, I scrolled down and noticed that you organize your closet by color like me! I don't know anyone else that does this so I got overly excited.

I also love the chaps from Kohls. If i wasn't getting so massively pregnant, I would totally go get some for the spring!

  11. Hi! I love reading your blog, it makes me hungry and style inspired all at that same time. Anyway, I too wanted to be able to respond to comments via blogger and was super annoyed that I couldn't--until I googled and found out that you can! Follow the directions on this link: http://www.spiceupyourblog.com/2010/03/reply-button-option-blogger-comments.html and you'll be replying in no time. I promise, it works--I just did it yesterday. It takes a little while to find the html line but it is there. Good luck!

  14. @十十f十hi there, i suck! sorry i haven't posted that yet! i'm posting a bunch more recipes today but i wanted to make sure you got this one, so here it is, sans photos -

1 box baby bella mushrooms, sliced (about a cup and a half when cut)
    4 cloves of garlic
    a few pinches of tarragon
a splash or two of dry white wine
about 2 oz of goat cheese, at room temperature (nice and soft)
    salt & pepper
    your choice of pasta
    1 T butter

boil a big pot of water with some salt. while you're waiting, start the butter melting on medium heat. add the mushrooms and toss them around a bit to get them nice and coated with the butter; turn the heat to medium-low and let 'em go. add a splash of wine and let them absorb that; continue to cook as low as you can until your pasta is in, cooking, and almost ready. once you're about to pull the pasta, add chopped garlic to the mix, and a little more wine, if it's all been absorbed; drain and quickly rinse the pasta, then add it to the pan with the mushrooms and garlic and toss it all around. add the tarragon, a bit more wine, and the goat cheese, and mix it all around until it's nice and coated. salt & pepper to your heart's desire, and serve!

  15. @Larai find that if you wear a lot of color, organizing that way is the only way to go, especially when you go monochrome a lot like i do. makes the bleary-eyed morning decision making a lot easier. how are you feeling? getting close to the big day?
