ReplyDeleteYou're insane! YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI tried a macaron for the first time last week, and nearly cried because I've missed out on such a magnificent thing for so much of my life. They're simply magical.
ReplyDeleteThat's just... spectacular. I bet it's really nice getting to MAKE something. Something tangible. Even though it gets eaten. I've been writing so much and it's all on the internet. SO not tangible. And it feels like it gets eaten, too, after someone edits it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your recipes and baking expertise! My friends and I had an end of college feast and made your chard salad, cornish hens with apple stuffing, a riff on lobster thermidor (containerized lobster stuffed into portobello mushrooms), and strawberry crumble (minus the rhubarb because the grocery store was sold out; we also added less sugar.) Anyway, everything turned out beautifully.
